The county lies in the South West of England covering 858,931 acres. There are 20 towns in Wiltshire and one city Salisbury, Trowbridge being the county town. In the 2001 cencus the county had a population of 613,024.

It struck me that people might not understand the marks on the base of my pots. Since 1975 I have been impressing two marks into the base of my pots. They represent two things:
The first is my name tag, which is a logo using my initials DGJ. These are always contained in an oval or elliptical shape and will be similar on all the pots I have marked. more
