A homeowner fought back, killing the man he said tried to rob him.
Salisbury police said 23-year-old Marlon Barber broke into a home Saturday night and pointed a gun at the homeowner, demanding money.
But officers say the homeowner, Jack Javis, refused to cooperate. The two struggled and Javis shot barber in the chest. more
