Worse yet, the city's lack of transparency could have lost the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority its biggest natural gas customer and another $200,000 a year in gas sales. more


Valentine's Day Kidnapping

A Long Island man is accused of kidnapping his girlfriend on Valentine's Day. It happened yesterday evening in Westbury. Detectives say that Jose Mejia, 20 of Freeport went to his girlfriend's workplace, grabbed her by the arm, pulled her out of the building and pushed her into his car against her will. more
